This stunning men’s watch is a great example of classic style and Swiss watchmaking at its finest. The Cartier Calibre Men’s Steel Watch, Model W7100015 consists of a Stainless Steel band, Stainless Steel dial, sturdy, scratch-proof crystal sapphire face and a facted blue synthetic spinel, which adds a nice touch. The real catch in this watch, though, is the stunning face. With a giant XII Roman Numeral stamped atop it, this Calibre watch is full of gorgeous accents and unique touches – making it another classic watch from the world-renowned and respected watch and jewelry makers, Cartier.

Sword-shaped hands outlined in black compliment the modern, yet traditional design of the watch-face. The top-half hours – 12, 1, 2, 3 and 9, 10, and 11, are all indicated by Roman Numerals, and the remaining digits are marked with white stick indicators that vary in size and shape depending on their location. The feminine curve this gives the otherwise very masculine watch is a fine touch – adding a bit of a surprise to a traditional design. The watch also includes a Calendar, indicated between the 3rd and 5th hours. There is also a stopwatch, secondhand clock at 6th hour, which is a useful feature for timing just about anything.

The watch is formulated with automatic winding, which uses the natural motion of your hands and arms to keep the watch ticking, and is also waterproof up to 30 meters.

Though this watch is oozing with sporty masculinity, and is truly striking to look at – it does have its downsides. The watch is only waterproof up to 30 Meters, which is about 100 American Feet. My first thought when I saw this watch was that its classic, maritime feel with the Roman Numerals and small-seconds clock, gave it such an excellent water-sport feel. It has the perfect look for a Scuba Diver or Sports Fisherman, but the low durability in water would make such a watch a hard sell for someone who spends a lot of time in, on or near the water. All things considered, though – this is an absolutely stunning watch. Its available from Cartier themselves, and on several other American watch websites – though oddly, not on Amazon. It retails for anywhere between $6,500 to $8,000.
