Are you ever jealous of the heroines in action films who always manage to look stylish no matter how hair-raising their escapades may be?  The Cartier Pasha Seatimer Ladies Chronograph Quartz Watch WJ130004 is your chance to looking fab in every scenario.  As Cartier has discovered, the key to looking good in an adventure is all in the styling.

Cartier’s watches are usually more helpful in making a fashion statement than telling the time, but the WJ130009 model not only looks great, it also combines comfort and functionality all in one piece.  Water resistant up to 100 meters (about 330 feet) with a white rubber strap and scratch-resistant sapphire, this watch is durable enough to outlast whatever adventures the modern day woman may have in mind.  The WJ130004 Seatimer model is one of the few Cartier watches for women that sports a chronograph function, allowing to keep track of every moment of your adventures.

The Design

As a part of the Seatimer series, this watch is made to look at home on land and sea alike.  The design coordinates burnished gold with accents an Arabic font  lends the watch a distinctly maritime air, while the bright white band keeps the watch looking modern.  The large size of the watch itself and bold numbers make this watch much easier to read than many of Cartier’s style-drive models.  The white ceramic “clou de Paris” motif also brings to mind the elegant ocean liners of old and the diamonds surrounding the bezel “anchor” this timepiece as a chic way to keep all your projects running on time.

 Feature Summary

This model (W3140004) provides the same functionality with a little less bling.

  • Silvered opaline dial
  • 18kt pink gold case
  • Bejeweled diamond bezel
  • Rubber watch strap
  • Scratch-resistant sapphire crystal
  • Water resistant to 100 meters/330 feet
  • Chronograph—hours, minutes, seconds, and date functions

  • Though proclaimed as the watch for women with active lifestyles, some may consider the diamonds a bit much and the all-white design may also attract dirt—especially for adventurers.  The ceramic portions and diamond setting may be too delicate for a rugged adventurer, so continue with care.  The W3140004 is an equally stylish, less bedazzled alternative.
  • The slim white hands against the backdrop of a white dial may make this watch difficult to read.
  • This watch is not yet available on the Cartier website, though you can find it through Google Products Search and the Swiss Luxury Watches website.

As one of the few Cartier watches that is actually readable, this timepiece keeps its Cartier charm along with its chronograph functions.  For the girl-on-the-go who doesn’t want to sacrifice all of her style on her adventures, the Cartier Pasha Seatimer Ladies Chronograph Quartz Watch WJ130004 bridges the gap between functionality and fashion.
