The name Cartier is synonymous with three things: luxury, elegance and style. This women’s watch, the Cartier Model W31075m7, is a brilliant example of all three. With a beautifully light pink glistening face, and stylized Arabic numbers, the model is an extremely stylish watch with a vintage feel that will look gorgeous for decades to come.

The Pasha line of watches was originally designed in the 1930s, for the Pasha of Marrakech (an elite title reserved only for generals, governors and dignitaries,)  who desired a watch he could wear during his strenuous daily swimming routine. Cartier, a name that had come to be associated with all things elegant, chic and luxurious, stepped up to the plate. The Pasha line of watches was one of the first of its kind, enabling the Pasha of Marrakech to swim while never having to remove his wristwatch. The Cartier name today, and this Collection in particular, is an extension of this dedication to watchmaking at its finest. Not only is the Pink Pasha waterproof, up to 100 meters (330 feet,) it is fitted with one of the most clever devices available – the self-winding rotor. For as long as you’re moving, your watch will never require winding. The device functions like a pedometer – winding your watch and maintaining power by using the natural motions of your body.

The watch has a great feel to it. The round dial is feminine, but still sturdy, and is beautifully accented with a rose colored face and stylized, Arabic numbers at the 12, 3, 6 and 9 positions. The remaining numbers are sticks, highlighted by the luminous, diamond shaped hands, which stand out brilliantly against the light pink background. There is a date window as well, showcased between the 4 and 5 o’clock positions. The incredibly shiny, highly polished bezel can be rotated to measure elapsed time, which is useful for boring business meetings and scuba diving alike.
