The Cartier Men’s W62020X6 Roadster Steel Automatic Chronograph Watch is a truly a classic, as far as men’s watches go. It is at once both rugged and refined. This watch does not need to stand out, does not require flashiness or bling to express its quality. It is like the strong, silent type of man which women find so appealing. It does what it promises, without complications. Reliable and sturdy, it is its unassuming handsomeness which makes it so attractive.

Men who wear the Roadster Steel are certainly those who appreciate quality and practicality. It is a fine watch to be worn for any occasion, whether that is in the office, dining with friends or just alone on the ski slopes. The tonneau shape and stainless steel case and triple-link steel band are classic men’s watch staples and the black dial and silver watch hands and roman numerals provide a clean and simple look.

This watch sits well on the wrist and is not too big and not too small. It sports all the specifications expected from a Cartier watch of its caliber with a scratch-resistant sapphire dial window, swiss-automatic movement and water resistance depth of 330 feet.

While the Roadster Steel is indeed a classic in form, it does sport several unique details setting it apart from watches of a similar style. The black dial is etched with rings for a sporty look and the polished stainless steel band has brushed center links giving it a nice contrast in texture. The stainless steel band has a hidden deployment clasp; however, this watch also comes with an interchangeable black leather strap. This Roadster Steel model is also a chronograph watch with three sub-dials displaying seconds, minutes to 30 and hours to 12.

The very name of this watch perfectly describes its character: Roadster because it is sporty yet chic, like a luxury sports car and Steel indicates its ruggedness and strong, masculine character. If you find these qualities in yourself, or a man you know then this might be the perfect watch. There is really nothing to complain about here. The Roadster Steel does not try to show off, because it simply does not need to. There is beauty in simplicity and pure, clean and refined ruggedness is the ultimate in masculinity.
